Multimedia is the integration of different media. The word multimedia is made up of two separate words: 'multi' and 'media', which means many materials through which information, ideas, facts etc. may be provided to the people easily.
- Multimedia is the technology that allows the user to control, combine, and manipulate the different types of media, such as text, sound, video, computer graphics and animations for presenting information in more interesting, interactive and understandable manner. It is the combined form of more than one kind of medium to present facts, ideas and information in precise manner.
