What are the two major fields of computer?

• The two major fields of computer are hardware and software. 
• Hardware: The mechanical, electrical and electronic parts of computer such as main machine, monitor, keyboard, etc. are called computer hardware. In other words, the components of computer which we can feel and touch are called as computer hardware. 
• Software: The series of instructions in the form of programs written and run on a computer is called as computer software.
