What is numeric variable?

• A variable that can accept or hold numeric data and whose value is not fixed on the program execution is regarded as numeric variable. A numeric variable starts with an alphabet and the remaining characters, if used, may be alphabets or digits or both.

• Integers variable
• Single precision variable
• Double precision variable
