What is hyperlink? Who coined it and when?

  • A hyperlink or simply link is a connection point in the web page. A link connects another HTML file. 
  • The links are distinguishing features of World Wide Web.
  • The term "hyperlink" was coined in 1965 (or possibly 1964) by Ted Nelson at the start of Project Xanadu.
