Data are the raw facts about something which may not be meaningful. So they should be processed in order to have meaningful information.
Data processing is the term given to the process of collecting data and converting them into meaningful information.
The complete operation of collecting data, processing it and presenting results in the form of information is called data processing.
One or more operations performed on data to achieve a desired output is termed as data processing.
It is a process that makes the data usable by transforming it to meaningful form.
