What are the measuring units of computer?

  • The measuring units of computer are BIT, Nibble, Byte, and Word. 
    • BIT – BIT is the smallest unit of information in computer. It refers to the two binary digits i.e. 0 and 1 called as BITS, Which is an abbreviation for BInary digiT. 
    • Nibble – It is a group of four bits in computer. 
    • Byte – It is a group of eight binary digits or bits. One bye can store one character.
    • Word – It is the combination of two or more bytes.
