Why is computer called an electronic device?

  •  Why is computer called an electronic device, not an electrical device?
    • Computer is called an electronic device, not electrical device because it consists of microprocessor chips.
    • The electrical devices use electricity to do work by moving things rather than chips with automatic programs.  And electronic devices also use electricity but with chips with automatic programs to manipulate information.

So a motor is an electric device, but a computer is an electronic device.
